Psalm 2 of Brandon

Ark of the covenant!
You make all things new!
New wine! Joy! overflowing Joy!
Bread of blessing! wonderful showbread!
Born from the line of priests,
You are due the wages of the promise of the Levi!
Born from the line of Prophets!
You are the fulfillment of the law!
You are due the wages of the Promise!
Born from the line of Kings!
You are due the wages of the Kingly promise!
Through You all things are added onto us!
Happy are we to be called to your table!
Sin and Death, my enemies, are ever present,
but You have made a banquet of blessings and promises for me- words from your mouth!
That I might eat of the promises of God in the midst of my enemies. That I might have the word made flesh!
Thank you Lord Jesus!

Psalm 1 of Brandon

Bless you Lord God, Abba Father!
You are my comfort!
You are the breath that gives me utterance
You are what makes a calf to gamble
All things have been marked by you
You are the maker of all things
The cosmos to the atom all declare your Glory!
Happy am I to be created and loved by such a God!
My fibers of being give thankful utterance!
Joy of tears stream down my face,
as my heart becomes ever thankful!
Bless you Abba God! Thank you Jesus for your steadfast love!

The Beauty of Paul

I have absolutely loved reading the letters of Paul. He beautifully presents the idea that Abram believed and it was counted to him as righteousness. Abram not Abraham, a Gentile before becoming a Jew so that the promise of God could be for all. Abram's faith is counted as righteousness! Paul is also wonderful in showing that through Christ we are adopted, and as such are sons and daughters through Christ. I shudder to think how void of hope my life would be if I was under the law! I am so thankful for someone who loved me while I was yet a sinner, who took on sin, who became cursed, who gave up himself to death, so that we could become righteous, without sin, that we may become blessed, that we can take up a new resurrected life. That we may glorify Jesus and through Jesus glorify the Father who is are creator- He is God, it is He that created us and we are His, we are His people, and the flock of His pasture! Praise the name of the Lord! Pay the laborer his wages, and do not muzzle the ox while he treds the grain! This is the same God who's steadfast love redeems the Roman Jew who persecuted and killed Christians, before turning his life over to God! Paul said it best, there is only one winner, run the race saints! run the race Saints! Believe in Jesus believe Believe! in God Believe in the Holy Spirit! Always try and extend the card of love to eachother, lift eachother up, encourage and not cause eachother to stumble. Act daily to put on the whole armor of God and to fight the good fight. Your faith is the action. Faith is an act, an act of the will an act of the immaterial, immortal, and uncorruptable spirit that rose Christ from the dead! and it dwells in those that believe! Praise God! Raise me Lord Jesus, Abba Father, raise me, you are my fortress You are my refuge, my God in whom I trust!

Memorizing Psalms

I have found great reward in being able to memorize psalms. I enjoy memorizing them and then recalling these and resting on the words of the psalms. It gives me great hope. I love that I can use them in my day to day life. And I feel drawn closer and closer to God. Memorizing the psalms makes me feel as though I am writing the words of God to my heart and binding the Word of God to my Soul.
