On Jesus hang all the law and prophets. At the transfiguration, we see Moses (LAW) and Elijah (PROPHET) flanking Jesus (LOVE).

I recently looked at Zach. 3 and realized that it is a prophecy to come about Jesus! Joshua stands as the Christ character before His father and before the accuser. This is an image of the end time! Joshua is covered in filthy garments- Jesus became sin who knew no sin. Jesus comes before the Father and the Accuser in filthy garments. But it is God who restores. It is God who accepts Joshua/Jesus in the filthy rags and commands that all sin be removed in an instant. The crucifixion, the death and resurrection story is the removal of all sin from His bride in a single instant. The filthy rags being replaced with spotlessness and a turban being placed on Joshua's head- This story is a sign a prophecy of the event to come! Before the accuser and God, Jesus is made holy acceptable and the case is settled.
I am further encouraged when I read the story in the Bible about Jesus clearing out the temple. The message that comes to me is that all of the sacrifices and all of the actions that we try and do in order to meet the law are considered to be a robbery to Jesus- "a den of thieves" We are seen trying to steal our salvation. When Jesus clears out the temple He is saying that He alone is the only acceptable sacrifice that will be able to meet every jot of the law.
Again, when I read the wedding at Canna, Jesus again presents us with a foreshadowing of a future event- the wedding at Canna represents the wedding to come between Jesus and His bride. The wedding also shows us again that Jesus serves to be the sacrifice. The good wine is saved for last. The sacrifice provided before (the wine given to the guests initially) did not last, that sacrifice ran out. pigeons, oxen, good works, money, and so on whatever x we try to "win" our purity fails. Jesus then presents His sacrifice through the new wine made in that moment and declared by the master of ceremonies to be the excellent wine- the best wine- The acceptable and worthy sacrifice for the wedding feast.

Psalm: 107:33-43
33 He turns rivers into a desert,
springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 a fruitful land into a salty waste,
because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
35 He turns a desert into pools of water,
a parched land into springs of water.
36 And there he lets the hungry dwell,
and they establish a city to live in;
37 they sow fields, and plant vineyards,
and get a fruitful yield.
38 By his blessing they multiply greatly;
and he does not let their cattle decrease.
springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 a fruitful land into a salty waste,
because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
35 He turns a desert into pools of water,
a parched land into springs of water.
36 And there he lets the hungry dwell,
and they establish a city to live in;
37 they sow fields, and plant vineyards,
and get a fruitful yield.
38 By his blessing they multiply greatly;
and he does not let their cattle decrease.
39 When they are diminished and brought low
through oppression, trouble, and sorrow,
40 he pours contempt upon princes
and makes them wander in trackless wastes;
41 but he raises up the needy out of affliction,
and makes their families like flocks.
42 The upright see it and are glad;
and all wickedness stops its mouth.
43 Whoever is wise, let him give heed to these things;
let men consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

He is the approachable God. In the old testament, this is the God that met with Abraham under the shade and told him that Sarah would be pregnant. This is the God that invited Moses to draw near to Him. But above all, to me at least, He is the approachable God because He came to earth as Jesus and invited me to his table. He tore the veil in order that I could come into His courts. I love you Jesus.

Adoration Prayer Book
I am finally able to have a moment to direct my attention to a book that I have been wanting to consume for some time, Adoration prayer book by Bob Hartley. I am thinking of posting as I go through the book.
The first declaration regarding God is that He is the abundantly available God. When I read this declaration I can't help but think of the instances through scripture where God's availability is abundant. Beginning in Genesis, He is a God that is ever present walking through the garden giving Adam an abundant provision of time. Secondly I think about how he stayed with and provided for 40 years availability to His people. He made heavenly bread fall from heaven, He was a cloud by day and fire by night in abundance. Then I think about Jesus and how abundantly available He was on the cross. All of Him hung on that tree. He was a word picture of when Abraham told Issac, The Lord will provide the sacrifice. When Abraham was ready to be obedient to God fully, then God was abundantly available with the sacrifice. It says that the ram was caught by his own strength. Jesus was caught by His own strength too. No one on earth could force God to die, Jesus alone had that authority- to lay down His life and take it up again! Pow WOW! Jesus You are the Abundant God, Abundant Blood Abundantly available so that any that call upon Your Name will be saved.
I offer a sacrifice of thankfulness to You Lord
In Jesus' Name AMEN!

A Vision
Here it is my Shepherd breaking through the chains with the spear from his side. The gate flings open and He enters into the courts. Going before him and after him is a crimson banner, the courts have a sound of victory with heavenly shouts of "Jesus is exalted, Jesus is triumphed, Jesus is exalted! Alleluia Hallelujah Alleluia He is coming to claim the throne of mercy!

Fellowship with Him
Hello Lord Jesus! Thank you for today, for being with me through the day, through all of my days. You are my strength- your steadfast Love sees me through my highs and lows. When I am not following you, you are there encouraging me. When I am at the precipice, you are there to give me faith in the face of adversity. Oh Help Me God! Help me to do what is right, not in my eyes, but in your eyes. I can't do it on my own- I need you my kinsman to guide me- I have eyes but do not see, I have ears but can't hear! But You, You Christ Jesus are what makes me to hear and to see the goodness of the Lord, the glory of the Wonderful. I need You my rose, be the Morning star my Navigator for the material and immaterial worlds. Be my champion. Jesus be my Saviour, remove my sin wash me make me whole in you through the taking on of the incorruptible spirit- the Holy Spirit- the Giver of Life. Be blessed Holy Spirit, Be loved for You first loved us.
